“Our country has a true culture in favor of vaccines. The doctor recalled that in the case of people between 12 and 29 years old, those who have a condition that may constitute a risk to their health in case of contracting covid-19 are being vaccinated, as well as some people in this group such as part of the contingency plans that each establishment defines and that allow the maximum use of available vaccine doses.

On the other hand, the manager insisted on the need for the population to attend their appointment for the placement of the second dose on time, since both the vaccine scheme developed by Pfizer-BioNTech and that of Oxford-AstraZeneca require the application of two doses to achieve maximum individual immunization and effectively reduce the risk of severe complications from covid-19 and the risk of death from this disease.

CCSS authorities ask the population to maintain preventive measures against covid-19: frequent hand washing with soap and water, physical distancing and use of a mask, even if they are already vaccinated.
