Ciudad Quesada Autovac. COVID-19 vaccination

(CRHoy.com) – The Director of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund in the Huetar Norte Region, Randall Chavarría, informed CRHoy.com that they do not allow people assigned to other areas of the country to be vaccinated in the area.

“We have established many controls to prevent this from happening, since the same system allows people to change health areas, but we are controlling it,” said Chavarría.

This Wednesday information has circulated on social networks that indicates that in this health area they are going to vaccinate people over 12 years old, with or without risk factors from any area of the country, so Chavarría is concerned that a large number of people will arrive and there are unnecessary crowds, because they are not going to be vaccinated.

The Ciudad Quesada Health Area is applying the COVID-19 vaccine to group 5, where it is also they can apply the contingency plana to vaccinate people over 12 years of age without risk factors.

The vaccine is being applied in the square of the municipal market and the Autovac, which is located in the old Ciudad Quesada hospital and where people can get vaccinated in their car.

In both places, doses will be applied to Over 30 years old without risk factors from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The only requirement is to carry the identity card and be registered in the health area.

As reported by many users, the vaccination service in this health area is very fast and efficient.
