Saprissa introduced 22-year-old forward Carlos Villegas on Wednesday. The national champion brings home a player who trained in the club’s minor leagues and who even made his debut in Tibás, San José, under Carlos Watson in 2017.
Villegas signed a new contract that links him to Saprissa until 2024.
“We give the warmest welcome to Carlos Villegas, who will become the institution’s new forward until May 2024,” the S reported in a brief press release.
