As explained by Dr. Eduardo Cambronero Hernández, director of the health services network, the meteorological conditions and the effects that have occurred in some of the communities in these regions forced the vaccination teams of the CCSS to stop immunization over the weekend, picking it up next week.

“We must ensure the protection of the population and our officials in these regions, this forces us to wait for the weather conditions to allow rehabilitate steps and the facilities that were affected by the storm, ”explained Cambronero Hernández.

The official added that tomorrow morning will assess the possibility of opening vaccination centers in Puerto Viejo and Sarapiquí, communities that were affected by the rains.
