(CRHoy.com) .- The National Emergency Commission (CNE) reported that they have registered 204 events due to heavy rains in various parts of the country since morning hours.
Of these, a total of 174 floods, 19 are inspection requests, 9 correspond to landslides and another 2 are reported due to traffic problems.
The affected territories are distributed throughout the country: in the province of Limón the affected cantons are Talamanca, Limón, Siquirres, Guácimo and Pococí; in Cartago are Turrialba, Paraíso, Cartago, Oreamuno, Jiménez and Alvarado.
Likewise, Corredores de Puntarenas; Sarapiquí and San Isidro de Heredia; San Carlos and Los Chiles de Alajuela; and the canton of San José, also register events due to heavy rains.
Also there are 5 routes affected by landslides or falling trees.
At the moment, 50 people are housed at the La Plástica School in Valle la Estrella. A shelter was also set up in Catarina, in which people would be mobilizing during the night.
